Crypto Market Watch: BTC, ETH Grab Minor Gains, Lead Most Altcoins Towards Small Recoveries
Post Image
Bitcoin on Tuesday, June 13, recorded a minor profit of 0.91 percent as it entered into the trading arena of the volatile crypto market. Bitcoin is presently trading at the price point of $26,012 (roughly Rs. 21.4 lakh), on both national as well as international exchanges. In the last 24 hours, the oldest cryptocurrency rose by $247 (roughly Rs. 20,365). With BTC managing to see gains, the overall crypto market seems out of the loss-ridden zone. Ether reeled in a gain of 0.54 percent to trade at $1,745 (roughly Rs. 1.43 lakh). The second-most valued cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, ETH's price grew by $16 (roughly Rs. 1,319). It is, however, noteworthy that ETH's current trading value is its lowest since February when it was trading at $1,684 (roughly Rs. 1.39 lakh). “Despite facing regulatory hurdles and liquidity issues, the performance of Bitcoin has remained remarkably robust. Bitcoin's support level at $25,000 (roughly Rs. 20 lakh) has proven to be quite resilient, holding up reasonably well in the face of market fluctuations,” the research team at CoinDCX told Gadgets 360. Following a conventional market trail, most cryptocurrencies that had been trading in losses in recent days, reflected recoveries on Tuesday after BTC and ETH recorded profits. Despite Binance being under the SEC's scanner in the US, Binance Coin managed to mint a bigger gain than BTC and ETH. At the time of writing, BNB was trading at $232 (roughly Rs. 19,140) with a gain of 2.5 percent. Ripple, Cardano, Dogecoin, Tron, Solana, and Polygon reflected profits on the crypto price chart by Gadgets 360. Litecoin, Polkadot, Wrapped Bitcoin, Avalanche, and Shiba Inu also minted small profits. The overall crypto market cap went up by 0.87 percent in the last 24 hours. As of June 13, the crypto sector valuation stands at $1.06 trillion (roughly Rs. 8720946 crore), as per CoinMarketCap. “The top ten cryptos by market capitalisation seem to be trading in the green, with TRX (+3.2%) replacing SOL (+2.0 percent) for the 10th position. BTC continues to trade above the crucial support of $25,000 (roughly Rs. 20 lakh), even as bears take over altcoins. ETH continues to trade above $1,745. Meanwhile, MATIC (+3.6 percent) has shown some strength as it announced its V2 plans amidst selling pressure from various US brokers,” Shubham Hudda, Senior Manager, CoinSwitch Markets Desk, told Gadgets 360. The few cryptocurrencies that recorded losses included Tether, USD Coin, and Binance USD. Leo, Bitcoin Cash, Cronos, and Braintrust also recorded small losses on Tuesday. The days to come could bring more volatility to the digital assets sector, experts say. “Investors eagerly anticipate the May CPI and the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision due to SEC lawsuits against crypto exchanges, concerns about inflation, and upcoming economic indicators,” Rajagopal Menon, Vice President, WazirX, told Gadgets 360. The fear and greed index however has re-entered the fear zone after a fall of two points from yesterday — currently positioned at 45 points, which indicates at an approaching bear market situation. The ongoing battle between the SEC and crypto players Binance and Coinbase is likely to intensify in the coming days, direct impacts of which will be seen on the crypto sector. “We can still expect markets to show volatility during the week due to multiple expected developments, from US CPI data, SEC's Coinbase rulemaking response, and Binance US hearing slated for today, to FOMC meeting, US Jobless Claims and more slated for later in the week,” CoinSwitch's Hudda added. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Cover Display to Feature Support for Optimised Google Apps: Report
Post Image
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to make its debut alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 next month at the company's next Galaxy Unpacked event. The smaller clamshell foldable is expected to bring a notable upgrade over the Galaxy Z Flip 4 — a much larger cover display. Unlike its predecessor's 1.9-inch external screen, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is said to sport a 3.4-inch outer display. This screen will reportedly offer support for both Google apps as well as Samsung's own apps. According to a SamMobile report citing unnamed sources, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will display an optimised version of Google's apps on the smartphone's external display. The South Korean conglomerate has reportedly worked with Google to allow apps like YouTube, Google Maps, and the Messages app to run on the outer screen. Users can expect to see directions, read and respond to messages, or even watch videos on the smaller external display — without unfolding the phone. Earlier this month, Samsung confirmed that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in Seoul, South Korea and will be scheduled for the last week of July. The company usually holds its Unpacked events in Europe or in the US — in cities like New York, London, Berlin, and Barcelona. The second Galaxy Unpacked event will be held a month ahead of its previously anticipated schedule. According to an earlier report, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 could cost as much as its predecessor in the US. Readers might recall that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 was launched in the US last year, priced at $999 (roughly Rs. 82,400). There's no word from Samsung on the purported smartphone's pricing and availability. Last month, tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (Twitter: @OnLeaks) leaked images of the company's Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone showing the foldable phone with a much larger, folder-shaped external display. A 3.4-inch outer screen was tipped by OnLeaks, suggesting that Samsung's foldable phone would also have a larger cover display than the recently launched Oppo Find N2 Flip. However, it is slightly smaller than the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, which has a 3.6-inch secondary display.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Expansion Release Date Set for September 26, Gets New Action-Packed Trailer
Post Image
Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty expansion finally got a release date and an action-packed trailer, revealing details about its espionage-focused story. The expansion's new trailer was revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase, held Sunday, and the game is slated to drop September 26, across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X. The add-on brings you to Dogtown, a previously unexplored, walled-off district in Night City, so you can embark on a high-stakes spy mission to save the President of the New United States of America (NUS). This new allegiance was hinted at in the first teaser for the expansion last year, also marking Keanu Reeves' return as Johnny Silverhand. The trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty opens with the protagonist V suffering some jitters, which she claims is a sign of her imminent death. “There's gotta be a way outta this,” Silverhand assures her, referring to a possible solution to how much Cyberware her body can handle. This is a completely redone system that adds a max capacity for how many new body modifications your character can take, with a VGC report noting that the systemic changes almost demand a new playthrough. CD Projekt Red has also added an Edgerunners perk that lets you surpass those bodily limitations while taking penalties on your overall health. It's quite similar to the cyberpsychosis seen in the Netflix anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, where installing too much Cyberware eventually makes you go berserk. Just to be clear, Phantom Liberty won't lean into the psychosis aspect but rather simply implement it as a high-risk-high-reward element. “We are not going as far as the introduction of cyberpsychosis though, have that in mind,” creative director Pawel Sasko said in the interview. Coming back to the trailer, we're introduced to a new character Songbird, an NUS intelligence analyst, who's aware of the bomb ticking inside us and claims can save our life. But there's a catch — we need to get inside the gated community of Dogtown for an espionage mission. We then cut to the district, where President Rosalind Myers' aircraft has crash-landed, turning the heads of its residents who intend to hold her hostage. In retaliation, a group of Sleeper Agents are deployed onto the field, which also includes Idris Elba's (The Suicide Squad) character, FIA Agent Solomon Reed. “Stay sharp, we are in the wolf's den now,” Reed warns us, as we make contact with President Myers, before getting plunged into a chase sequence against a giant laser-firing spider-mech. “Someone ratted us out,” V says adamantly, which seems to be the crux of Phantom Liberty's story — there seems to be an imposter. The trailer then devolved into a montage of action sequences involving some gunplay and V starting to lose control of her basic motor skills, upping the stakes for her survival. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty releases September 26, across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X. Pre-orders are now live across all platforms, costing Rs. 1,499 on PC and Rs. 1,745/ $29.99 on console.
